nice boat, well done. Not sure, are they all 3cabins or are some 2 + dinnete?
Did you hoist the tarp on any spars? Proper trim might have got you back on the plane if you sat the crew on the stern. ?Definitely. A few years ago I did the second half of Biscay on one engine after picking up a massive tarpaulin and ropes halfway across. Managed to swim and cut off most of it mid ocean but unable to get the shaft/prop completely clear. Slow progress when not planing but got there in the end.

Tried that but wife wasn't big enough to make any difference.Did you hoist the tarp on any spars? Proper trim might have got you back on the plane if you sat the crew on the stern. ?
So are you hanging up the winch handle now, Paul, or going both ways?!
That is a bit much. Asking a bloke if he is going "both ways"So are you hanging up the winch handle now, Paul, or going both ways?!
well easier access to batteries as well thenThanks. Some have a dinette to starboard, in place of the "crew" cabin. Ours has this layout which suits our use really well. She is basically sound, but needs a little TLC and some updates/upgrades.
btw Paul, now that I've spent sometime in the second cabin checking the electrics/batteries, does yours have the Cetrek charger laying flat next to the batteries? find it an awful placement but not sure if someone has done that on my friend's boat or if it's original layout. Plan to give him my spare Victron to replace that ancient one...
