No need for any apology I'm sure, very few in here are likely to be serious about a comment like that, as I think he hints at with the 'yobbo' bit. It's a bit worrying when I see people moaning about loud stereos or a party boat, or even the anti mobo comment though. Not quite the ECF I've come to read in preference to scuttle, but then I suppose it's evolving. Shame really, it used to be more tolerant in this area, not like some of the lake solent lot

Next it'll be an argument over which anchor or how to cross a TSS, rarely helps anyone, but some like to do it. No sea horses round here I hope, time to give up all hope if there are, innit

Just had to get it off my chest really....

Hoorah... :)

Ordered some spangly new sails....

Can't wait!

I'd just like to add that I have also joined the new Crusader sails coven of the ECF. Order is in, measurements in, unrealistic delivery date requested, so will probably not be available for the pirate weekend.
Another trip to the sail mender needed to have a hole stitched up in the old main. :(

On the strength of the experiences of the several forumites in this thread, I've just been and gone and went and dunnit as well! :)

Just shook hands over the 'phone with Paul Lees at Crusader for a new bi-radial full-battened main and tri-radial jib in that new posh Hydra Net cloth, for March delivery.

Forumite experiences aside, the price differential was a whopping 40% more from the nearest competitor, and the next closest was 62% more
