Been thinking about it for some time .. The jib leech flutters away on any point of sailing .. I have tried tightening the leech line but it just makes the exit from the sail hook round and it does not look very good .. One of the problems seems to be the sacrificial strip .. The main is not bad but when reefed there is still a fair amount of sail up so ..
Having read between the lines of Full Circle's post and wishing for a set that will power the boat have decided on ....... Not the cheapest but have used them on my FINN ( New Zealand ) Version and the original Sea Mist had them .. No sacrificial sun strip just a cover thats hauled up by the spinnaker halyard .. Bit of a bother yes but what a difference to the cut of the sail ..
May even get them in PINK ..
