New Raymarine EV100 Wheepilot ?

I am looking at buying one of these systems for my sailing cat , can anybody tell me the type of wheel drive unit
used ? is it the same as the old ST/4000 type with the small belt and breakable nylon gears ?
or better ?

The wheel drive unit appears identical to the Mk II wheel drive as used for about 10-15 years - small belt, dubious quality mechanical construction, etc. etc...

I think they've learned that if they keep making crappy wheelpilots, more people will upgrade to expensive below-decks ones
