Boat came out of water after 18 months over weekend. Hull a pretty horrid sight.Loads of monster barnacules, but curiously no hard to get off coral stuff or weed.
Port prop has hit the bottom once too often, its also bit soft and beyond saving.
Need new 4 blade 22" x 16.5 right hand prop. Some thing close pitch wise not a problem as have a magic prop shop not far away.
Vetus want a real fortune .
any suggestions ?

How about replacing those old fashioned shafts with one of those new outdrive thingys, I hear you can trim them up when bimbling about in shallow water so you don't bash em on the bottom?

But... would like to use the boat for more than 50% of the time in any one season and to also go places without leaving a trail of Hydraulic oil/gearbox oil making pretty rainbow patterns in the water behind me....:):):)
