We took ownership of an Aquastar Ocean 38 in September 2020 and whilst she was structurally and mechanically sound, she was cosmetically in need of updating. The boat is moored in Ramsgate and we are 200+ miles North in Staffordshire so due to lock down, we are unable to see first hand the work being done so created a FB page so we can keep a log of the work as it progresses for our family.

You may, or may not be interested in following the work but I would be grateful if you do simply for guidance, questions or suggestions, please feel free to tag along and search for Tolerance of Guernsey on FB.

Cheers
Rob

Looks like a great refit with very high quality work being carried out.
What type of white resin did you use to cover the heads? Was it flowcoat?

I will follow with interest. We bought our 2001 Hardy during the summer last year and had a refit planned for the winter months - most DIY so lockdown has put the kybosh on what we can achieve.

Hi, yes it was, one coat brushed then two coats applied by roller, it came out really well.
