new nav gear

Need some expert advice please on this new range of 3d nav gear thats hitting the market now.

Autopilot is Raymarine so does this mean I will have to have the Raymarine radar and chart plotter....................if so whats the c12ow with 12in ch diisplay like

Or can I fit the Furuno 3d-drs4a radar chart plotter with 12.1 inch screen, multifunction unit to tie in with raymarine autopilot??

Somehow I seem to have heard, possibly on here that where before the first choice would have been Raymarine the competition have caught them up and possibly taken the lead???? is that true.

Do any one produce yet a good touch screen plotter???

Whats your take on Furuno these days??

The new raymarine E series stuff looks good and does everything in one unit but I think it costs a bomb. Looks good though. I think some of them are toich screen aswell

Havent looked at price, should have done realy, but the E series is supposed to be multifunction and a new range.

Yes foruno always used to be ok but don't know about new products and have not had any of the new ones.
