That could be good news. I've used the one in Gloucester a few times and got some good discounts. I found you need keep popping in and checking what they have in stock but well worth it in the end.

We went there while the January sales were still on and the savings were really good. We had no need for new oilies but we filled up on evolution stuff that was seriously cheaper than force four. They seemed to be doing good business while we were there.

Didn't realise Rohan was a brand, had a casual jacket of theirs a few years back, wish I'd kept it now :)

Musto has had an Outlet Store at Bicester for 15 or so years. I don't think this has damaged the brand. I also have had no problem with Helly gear, just be selective about what you buy, they do some great kit at good prices all IMHO.

The Musto shop in Bicester has shut down, according to other Musto stores.

Ok, sorry, I haven't been there for a while. Bicester is really catering for shopping tourists like the Chinese and Japanese, where they can buy goods made in..........China. Quite bizarre.

I think it's more a time and chance thing in the Gloucester branch. Sometimes they've got some decent stuff in, often they don't. And if they do, it's often the wrong size unless you're exceptionally big or especially small. I got lucky and picked up my MPX jacket from there six months back. Haven't been so lucky in replacing my salopettes though. The HH outlet in Gloucester Quays used to be a much more reliable source of waterproofs, better range and better discounting. Until they closed down :(
