A bit late posting this due to work commitments, last Saturday used Tillergirls passage plan for the Ray Sands (we where an hour an half late setting off!) Reached the bridge half an hour after HW, after a decision wether to go ahead or leave the boat at Burnham!

So Special thanks to Ianc1200 who picked me up from Southminster station and crewed for me with his friend Neil, and of course Tillergirl and those of you who posted input to my thread.

And if the Lady bridge operator is reading this thread, a very big thank you for being so helpfull and guiding us over the Broomway!

Hi Roger, had I stuck to your time schedual we could have probably gone ashore on Potton Island and had a BBQ! But under the circumstances that unfolded on the day, I was chasing from behind trying to squeeze every ounce of headway without breaking my boat.

Have say though your plan worked really well, the Ray Sands bought us time to punch up a choppy Crouch with wind over tide!

Now having tasted this passage I want more. Thanks again
