New marina Preveza

For those that may be interested I have some up to date info on the new preveza marina. It is operational now but still a a building site, in the UK it would be a hard hat zone. There was somebody in the office and a marinero and already quite a number of boats there. The prices that I was quoted were for a an 11.5 metre boat including vat were as follows:

day 45.70
month 517.80 (until 30/9)
month 341 (1/10-31/3)
year 3633

I thought that there might have been a a cheap start up offer but no

That's only 200 euros cheaper than Lefkas, which I think is in a nicer town and finished!

Where is this one? Some time since I was in the Ionian, I know the old marina next to town quay and Cleopatra. I take it this is elsewhere?

It’s the old one, north end of the town quay, done over. Refurbished piers/pontoons, new build offices, facilities etc. Looking quite good at the moment albeit not yet finished.
Cleopatra “marina” still going strong on the other side of the water. It’s a collection of floating pontoons which are not comfortable in high winds. Shoreside facilities are good.

Wow, what a difference a few days make. We were there until July 26th when we hauled out at Ionion. Our 12.2 Meters was 19 Euro a day, water and electric included.

Could someone tell me the contact details for Preeza marina please? May use it for one night beginning September to pick up crew. I know we could go on the quayside but not sure I can take the noise!!

best to email I think when we were there there was someone using a hammer drill in the next room and it was so loud the poor girl couldnt use the phone so our conversation was stop go

You can anchor by the old fishing harbour then go on the quay once the crew arrive , if they coming in Preveza if you anchor on the other side by the yards , it's a 20 min walk from the airport .

What we did was anchor off the east end of the runway. Scrambled ashore by north end of wall (not a granny route) and it's a 10 minutes walk, mainly off the highway.
