Crikey Tom, that is a big project and will hopefully get some money into the area.
Great, it does need it!![]()
I think it will be a great option (as long as the security is good) for boats on passage to and from the Thames that don't want to venture far off course for an overnight stop.
Surprised that nobody has yet remarked on it being the only marina with a local bomb waiting to go off etc etc! Some HASEX spod may ban it thereby![]()
Very good news indeed - there's an awful lot of boats in and around north Kent, many in drying creeks and mud berths, so I'm sure there's an oppportunity to pick up some relocations as well as new owners. I'll welcome both developments as a stop-off from coming up from the Thames heading for the east coast.
I stopped off in Queenborough for the first time last week and was pleasantly impressed - the main street has some lovely Georgian buildings and there are a couple of decent looking pubs and I could see it becoming a popular sailing/mobo centre.
