New lifejacket manufacture date

Just received 2 brand new lifejackets

Opened the box and they clearly show for warranty purpose manufature date of apr 2021

Is that a concern, will it affect servicing dates

I have asked the supplier for confirmation but not sure on the norm

Don't waste time asking on here, ask the manufacturer. There'll be a shelf life and a service life from first use. The manufacturer will tell you how these run or overlap with regard to service interval.

If you check the replacement dates on the firing capsules you find them almost at that date. I wouldn't accept them. If they sent out service kits, i might.
