Hey guys n gals...im new here so thought i would say HI...pretty new to boating so bear with me for a few months...i have just bought a 2000 Fairline Targa 37 from Essex Boat Yards....few hiccups with the supplier but promised to rectify all the small issues i have come across...seem a decent bunch to be fare.....

Welcome Sambaman i too am at york marina,i,m boatless at the moment hope to get another before the season,your boat is looking good so is the lambo,saw it a couple of times early this year,

Yes welcome to a place that used to be a hell of a forum. Now just mends engines and stuff.. Mind they have mostly bored the pants off engine menders. so not many left.

THIS FORUM USED TO BE ABOUT GOING SOME WHERE, DOING something. I used to spend hours doing vidio's and stuff. It's sad, but most folk that put effort in here, have all given up. Guess the new lot have to try harder.

Ahh,come on.. its been more than that. Its been a playground for bullies,a place of generosity, an absolute hoot, a total bore, a mine of useful info, a source of some great stories,a place to make friends, a place to find some very odd people, and doubtless much more too.
Winter is always the dull time though, followed by some good punch-ups in Spring.. although 2009 seemed thin even on those ;)
 
Just like a good pub, this forum has got one or two old farts in the corner dribbling into their beer and muttering about how things used to be much better in the old days when they had teeth. Just buy them an occasional half and treat the drunken ramblings as part of the entertainment. ;)
