New Ipad navigation app.

Just thought I would mention a new Navigation app on Ipad. SeaNav on the Apple store. Straightforward simple navigation app including ALL UK charts which seem to be quite late versions. The charts download for offline use once you open the app on a part of the coast you are interested in (online at that time) Very low cost app for charts as well. Was £9.99 & still is I think. No connection just a user. Like all these apps, you have to play around with it to realise what it can do but seems useful.

As an avid collector (well, maybe not) of iPad navigation apps I will have to give that one a try.

Will take a lot to beat Navionics though.......

Beware, this app needs IoS 6 to work. I bought it but have an Ipad 1 (with software ver 5.1.1) and it fails to load and requests a later version of the s/w (which doesn't seem to exist for Ipad 1). I guess one needs Ipad 2 or 3 for this to work.

Yes, you need one of the later iPads for iOS6.
