We have had a quote from Marine Trim in Staffs to re- carpet and re-upholster a Sealine 360 Statesman.
The quote and their web site appear very professional and on the face of it it looks like they may do a good job, has anyone any experience with them or any recommendations for someone who may be able to quote?
Boat is in Bristol/Sharpness and we want cabins, saloon new upholstery and carpets, aft deck and fly we want new foam and new vinyls.
Anyone know if we could get the vinyl that the new Sealines at SIBS had upstairs and out the back?

Cheers

Hi Iain, is this Loui and Ade, renamed from Quayside? If yes, you know their quality is great.

I guess the material on the Show Boats is Sunbrella? Several on here have this on their boats. Well recommended.

I too wondered if it was Loui, from the location and sealine connection. He recovered my sq58 seats and the work was awful, but the stuff on his website looks excellent so I'd expect he is doing good stuff nowadays

Not Loui, although I used him on Rafiki and his work was first class. Sneds has seen a few boats that Loui has upholstered. All owners very happy.

We had all of our outside seats replaced on our F/B by Loui this year and after 6 weeks had to take most of them back due to quality issues. He repaired but not a great job. We will look elsewhere next time.

How about a pic of your "new" flybridge please Tony :), Won't be calling in on Penarth this year, so photo will have to do.
