Be honest, Jason - you really want to do the pubs .......
Doesn't make him a bad person. My (hazy and befuddled) recollections of canalside pubs remind me that they had a lot going for them compared to Thames side ones. Beer seemed to be about half the price for starters
I have a sponsorship certificate for 10m of the K&A specifically outside The Barge at Seend Cleeve which has always been good for a free pint.Back in the days before 24 hour licences The Black Lion at Consall Forge (Caldon Canal) was always a bit haphazard with its clock. Best I stop now before Jedi goes on brokerage for a narrowboat!
