New fuel filter installed

I contacted a seller on ebay, "the-dieselman", looking for a suitable replacement fuel filter assembly. He replied almost immediately with a suggestion for a housing that would take standard spin on filters (replacements a fiver each) and he put together a complete kit with banjos, fittings, blanking plugs and spare washers all for twenty quid.

That's now fitted, and I can scrap the fiddly CAV "Microbowl" that caused me so much trouble in the past. Working on that at sea didn't bear thinking about.

I don't have a clear sediment bowl (didn't before either) but the filters have a drain screw.
