New Fridge Options

Hi

Unfortunately my Fridge has died and now looking for a replacement, the old one is very old but the replacement is a

Isotherm Refrigerator
Model: 1130BB1AA0000
Cruise 130
12/24v

I was shocked how expensive these were and wondered what alternatives there are,

Any advise or suggestions welcome

Normal fridge and invertor is the alternative.

Hurricane has one has says consumption is ok

similar issue to what I read on your post

Only the light comes on and only works on 12v not 240v

The door does not shut properly either so thinking its not worth repairing

We got an Isotherm which we just run off 12v, leave on all the time but the batteries are charged by a solar panel when we're not there and a battery charger when shore power is plugged in. Would it worth investing in a similar set up and just run off 12v?, (if you can get the door fixed)
