Off to look at a new boat later on this week. Can anyone recommend a pub type b&b in the new forrest area? Reasonable cost - to a Yorkshireman, that is!

We stayed in the Mayflower Inn, Lymington, the weekend before last. (A lads New Forest cycling weekend rather than boating). It was fine for us.

1 twin bedded room + 1 family room (1 double + 1 single)
Beers (Whitbread house) : Ringwood Best, Fullers London Pride, Youngs
Special. Food not bad.
Cost : £150 the lot (B&B). Not sure if that matches Yorkshire prices!

Lymington tourist information office ( here are usually quite helpful. But if it hasn't changed in the last couple of years, I can recommend the Mayflower as a good pub to visit anyway.
