After a lot of deliberation I fitted a FlexoFold 3 blader on my with 3YM30 - SD 20. I launched last week and did a trial run on Sunday. Wind speed approx 12Kn and found at least an extra 1/2 kn under sail in all points. Handling under motor is fine and had an indicated 8.2 Kn motoring under max revs.
On reciept I measured the surface roughness of the blades at Ra 0.4 and about 1.0 on the hub. Both were polished to a mirror surface measuring better than Ra 0.2.
Definately recommend this prop so far

My experience mirrors yours. I fitted a Flexofold 2-blader and found motoring performance markedly improved over previous fixed 2-blader. This includes stopping and reversing where folders are traditionally supposed to be inferior.

Varifold 2 blade, Yanmar 1GM on Hunter 245 (25', twin keels).
Under power, not quite as fast as previous Radice 2 blade fixed but difference very small, in reverse no problem but you have to use reasonable revs to get blades to open, in general under power no worth-bothering-with difference between the two.

Under sail definitely quicker, as you would expect. Boat feels better, too.
