Hello folk's, I'm one of the trustees from a charity up in Lowestoft, we've recently purchased an ex RNLI all weather lifeboat which we are refurbishing for use as a youth training vessel from the town.

We are desperately seeking volunteers, whilst I know many of you will have far too much to do with your own boats. If anyone on here could help us with some time on the boat we'd truly appreciate the assistance.

For more information take a look at www.50001.org.uk or www.facebook.com/exRNLI50001

Thanks,

Scott.

Hi.

A bit of everything from Dogs body work through to experienced engineers/electrical and welding, the whole vessel is being refurbished, we are having to replace both engines, completely rewire and re-plumb including installing such interior niceties you would expect in a motor cruiser as opposed to a lifeboat, i.e showers and heating.

No amount of time offered is too little, we'd appreciate any and all assistance people can offer.

Thanks.

Hello,

We are in need of volunteers to do a bit of everything really, from dogs-body work right through to skilled trades (electrical, engineers and welders particularly).

We've got to completely overhaul the vessel, turning it from spartan and abused lifeboat/Pilotboat to "comfortable" training vessel. We've got to replace both engines, install showers, heating and new electronics including a complete replacement of the dashboard and wiring.

We'd encourage anyone who is able to spare even a small amount of time to get involved, and would truly appreciate anything that is offered.

Thanks
