Not sure if many of you are aware of the Hurlingham Yacht Club in Putney. It's underneath the railway/pedestrian bridge on the south side of the River. We've spent the last year building a new dry dock (to replace our much loved, but very worn old dock) and it's now up and running and open for business. Our members have tested it out and are extremely pleased with this new facility, with flexible side supports that can hold 20' to 50' boats.

The Club has a landing pontoon, trailer/rib park, dinghy moorings, an excellent clubhouse with bar, riverside terrace, kitchen, toilets & showers, as well as a working boatyard with lots of equipment for repairing and rebuilding boats. New members are always welcome /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you’re interested in using the dry dock or want to know more about membership, please contact the HYC on 020 8788 5547.

Thanks for listening /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif - Stacey

Do you have any photos?

I think its a great opportunity and perhaps a web page with photos and pricing would bring some income in for your club?

Good luck with it.

Hi Byron - next time you're passing at HW +/- 2hrs, you can tie up on our pontoon and drop in for a drink. There's normally someone about, particularly on sunny Sundays, enjoying sundowners on the terrace /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
