Mrs Burgundyben and I have a new crew member, Felix James Curtis arrived in a bit of a rush and 8 weeks early on 20th November weighing 3 lbs 11 ounces. Both he and Mrs BB are doing just fine.

To replace Playtime we have bought a Fairey Huntsman 31 aft cabin. Hull number 24, there's a bit of work to do finishing off and putting back together. Hope to have her ready for the Club's 30th Rally in June.

More pics of the boat to follow.

congrats!

btw, when was the Hantsman bought? Is it likely Mr Felix was early out of plain curiosity to see the new boat? If so, looks like you have a v.keen new member of crew...

cheers

V.

many congrats !!
exiting times for mum and dad,
and hopefully Felix will enjoy the Fairey Huntsman in a couple of years
best wishes to the family !

Congratulations on both arrivals. I've often wondered when my two were still new born if the rocking motion of the boat at anchor would have been the equivalent to rocking their cot through the night just to keep them asleep. Thrilling times ahead. :encouragement:

New baby and new boat?! Wow! It doesn't get much better than that! Very many congrats on both fronts :)
