New Covers

We need to get new covers made for our Doral 250SE. I have tried a couple of people in the westcountry, but they have either not responded or are unable to help at the moment.

Does anyone have any recommendations for people/companies in the covers/canvas business - preferably in Devon (boat in Brixham).

Thanks for replies so far - am waiting to hear back from one based in Plymouth. Have also asked a local Brixham company for a quote - will let you know contact details and how I get on once the process is a bit further down the line.

Highly recommended for Monterey stuff. They do work for Southwater Marine the main Monterey dealer.

Coastal Canvas - call Dane. 07779009394. Based in Brixham, does a lot in Dartmouth. Very Competitive, great work. Had my canopy done last year and very pleased.

I asked Slick Cut for a quote a year ago and I still haven't heard back from them. I then asked Ocean Canvas for a quote in September. Their 'pop over next week' turned out to be January and the quote was almost £3000 + vat and they wouldn't do the opening rear windows and couldn't get the front rubber strip so would fashion some poppers at extra cost.

I then found Great Lakes Boat Tops in America. It seems they are the OEM for most American boat canvas tops. The full bimini/camper top arrived in less than two weeks and cost £1625 including delivery and vat/duty. It is exactly as per the original Sea Ray top using the same Sunbrella fabric. I'd highly recommend them for your Monterey top.
