I wonder is Duncan Wells will appreciate this photo I just found in my files.



I was sailing a couple of years ago and had bought a greetings card with a Labrador on. To keep it flat I put it with some books and later realised it looked comical. For those who do not know, I regularly day sail with my Labrador. I feel it sums up how sailing should be.

I bumped into @DuncanWells at the SBS 2018 after getting Stress Free Sailing the previous Christmas and had to say thank you for a brilliant book. At SBS 2019 he was throwing small boys into the sea from his boat and pulling them out again with his very clever bit of string.

Excellent book. Coming into berths using the stern bridle technique often results in neighbouring boats asking, "How did you do that?" I should be on commission
