Anchored next to us is a Moon 60 sailing catamaran. Its super ugly.
The bridge deck clearance is so minimal that I don't think I could get under it lying on my paddleboard. Its a charter barge.
The builders website shows options for power and sail. One has a stick the other has bigger engines. The hull looks identical.
This has to be the nastiest catamaran design afloat. I wonder why the builders website doesn't show a view from the front?🤔
It like two 60ft monohull hulls fixed together with a house on top. The website suggests 22 tonnes. They are having a laugh.
The thing you can see between the hull is a huge hydraulic platform on the rear for lifting the tender

Reminds me of this one that has been going up and down the Dart for many years.

It has more clearance under the hulls as I once saw a kayaker paddle between the hulls. The captain went ballistic at him.

i recall being in Eire about twenty five years ago when a big local story was of jet-skiers 'shooting the hulls' of the fast cat ferry as it went in/out of Dun Laoghaire.
