New Cardiff Yacht Club web site

Just to let everyone know that there is now a new Cardiff Yacht Club web site www.cardiffyachtclub.org that is fully optimised to work on Mobile phones, Tablets, laptops, huge desktop screens and probably Apple Watches too.

There is a lot of useful information available specific to boat users in the Cardiff and BC area and this is all in one place on the www.cardiffyachtclub.org/info page. This page has been designed to look like an App when viewed on a Mobile. There are instructions on that page detailing how to create an icon on your mobile or tablet to gain quick access to this information. Of course anyone can access it.

WiFi or mobile data is required to access the information so it's useful for non navigational use when you have a signal.

Very good chance indeed. As far I am aware, there is space and new members are genuinely welcome. I will pass your details onto the right person at CYC. If you don't hear anything soon I would suggest leaving messages on the phone number on the web site.

The simple answer is yes. Obviously you would have to do the normal "hoop jumping" but this is no more onerous than other clubs. There is an emphasis on encouraging members who get involved in the running of the club, not just using it as a boat park.

You can have my place, as I have sold my yacht and they don't let commercial boats park there. Plus I don't get the time to get down there on my favourite day...Saturday lunch time.:blue::blue::blue:

Always enjoyed a warm welcome as a visitor at CYC, great showers etc and a friendly bar.
Short walk to the bay and an easy bus ride into Cardiff.
Would seriously think about joining if it wasn't for the toll on the Severn Bridge!
