sounds like they are planning to build a new bridge over the Thames.

from what I can make out it will be near Thames & Kennet marina going over towards the business park on the Reading side

As Brayman says, they've mooted this for years. A certain person a lot of us know gets quite excited whenever the subject comes up as they will have to purchase a load of land off him.
