New boatyard in Orei, Evia (DimStef)

I have seen very few references to the new DimStef boatyard in Orei, Evia, on this forum. I would just like to tell fellow liveaboards that we have been extremely happy with the yard, the facilities, the price we were quoted, and the enthusiasm, professionalism and organisation of Dimitris and the yard. Our yacht Fandancer has now been pulled out of the water and is safe in her winter home in Orei. Thx for this info. The yard is located in Oreio or in Neos Pirgos? In which port have you been to prepare the boat for the winter?

I had an email describing the yard this summer, and added it to my web site page on N Aegean. Has anything changed since then?

I see from your blog that you've just "done" the channel inside Evia. I haven't been up that channel for 5 years, so I'd very much appreciate it if you could point out any errors on the page - or propose additions! You can do that by adding a "comment" to the page. You have to register with the site to do that though (keeps spmammers out), so that may put you off!

It gets below freezing for periods up there in winter, so several people have warned me that it's sensible to winterise against frost when leaving the boat.
