I now have a boat suitable to have underneath the burgee. Now need to explain to the lady wife that my wise investment of many thousands may entail a little economy here and there in the eating out dept etc etc.
Help and tips in this area may be of life preserving importance.
What size holes did HLB say ferrets needed.

Exercise is bunk.If you are healthy, you do not need it;if you are sick you should not take it.

Ferett only neans small hole maybe 2 inch. Cos if hole not big enough. No trouble or squackes. Ferrit will just make the hole bigger ( as necesary) Wife on the other hand will just squack. Make no attempt to make hole bigger. So Imho. Get ferret and errumf. eerr. ( Is there a place like RSPCA) For wives??

Nothing really grand I am afraid.Started off about a year ago looking for Princess 33.Spent a fortune in fuel driving up and down perishing motorways to the following
Loosdrecht/Harderwijk
Wroxham/Beccles and most of norfolk n suffolk.
Ramsgate
Sandwich
Dover
Brighton
Shoreham
Chichester
Hamble(most of)
Christchurch
Tewkesbury
Stow on the wold
Prob a few I have forgotten about.
Every Blimming Thames Marina at least twice
All the ones local to me........
For any one who has being trying to ring my home number it my be worth trying again, you may get through now as I am no longer on the net 23.5 hours a day.
Seen about 50 boats inc
All early Princess
Birchwood
Northshore
Fairline
Pegasus.
Sealine
Degroot
Mamba
Freeman
Italcraft
and ended up with a princess 33.powered by umm I will leave you to guess, but I do know lots of people with loads of spares for this particuler pair of engines.
Ps what does the A after the 40 stand for.

My wife once said after a blazing row "thats it! either I go or the boat goes!! I said to her with as much bravery as I could muster "ok let me know where you are staying!" that was over 7 years ago and she has never even come close to suggesting I sell the boat again!

Just tell her that all that eating out is bad for her at your age and all that running around the decks sorting ropes and fenders keeps her healthy! so you really have her interests at heart! also of course you can point out that if you spend as much time as possible down at the boat pottering about you will seriously bring the boat back to such an excellent standard that it will increase the investment you have both made! should work huh!
