New boat

Hi

Having just taken a deposit on my old boat, I'm now looking around for a newer one, have seen a couple and the price seems reasonable given the current market, some of you may think differently.

One is a Silverline 27 2007 model 38k which I've not heard of does anyone have a experience of Silverline boats good or bad.

The second one is a Shetland 27 ( 2005 model ) 42k
Which one would be the better boat in terms of build quality and reliability

Urm... I no nothing about boats yet... lol.. done a quick google... like the look of the Shetland 27 a little better.... good luck and exciting times

Are you not suppose to be going north. Ps don’t forget your COVID pass to get into Yorkshire.

Postponed it to next weekend. Wanted owner to be there when I pick up the boat... mega excited.

Came on here to ask a serious question about boats, and just get a bunch of jokers, what a waste of time this forum is, it's a shame as it used to be very informative

Are you sure it's a crownline? I always thought they were american sports boats. A friend has a 18footer. Very well made.

Lighten up. The topic got sidetracked but it was just a bit of banter. There is plenty of help in this thread, and others, I have only ever found good advice mixed with a bit of fun on here. It can be annoying if the thread gets too hijacked, but hey, it's an open forum.
