Having sold our Cranchi 48 fly last year we started looking again a couple of months back with a view to buying a new boat to us.

Having searched high and low for a Fairline Squadron 58 and finding it very difficult to negotiate a great deal we happened to come cross a 2013 Fairline Squadron 60 with Bates-Wharf

After several weeks of negotiation we finally agreed the deal and have taken ownership as of Friday.

The boat will be shipped to Palma next week and we look forward to several weeks of boating around Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca.

Can’t wait!

We are booked to go Next Tuesday to Friday?
P&M
Hoping to get out this weekend but have a number of jobs still left to do.
I am having a stern thruster and warping winches done before it goes and a couple of things for the crew cabin which was not specified.
Pete’s doing my name plate so its all in hand hopefully!

If you had one day to sail in the solent where would you go?

We may be on the same boat then as that's who I'm with, apparently a big su seeker to

I'm also down Southampton on Friday getting a tender and some bits fitted before we leave!

My last trip out was last Thursday where we anchored in Chichester , lovely spot.

We may see you next week all being well

Congratulations. I've just had my new boat brought back from Malta to UK by Peters and may. Very good to deal with but very frustrating watching the ship forever diverting! I was led to believe I was getting a discount for being northbound, I can't emagine what it's costing southbound. They do certainly move a lot of boats though.

Lovely boat indeed I hope you have many days of lovely boating on her.
I can only dream of such a machine

Is she at Osmotech?

Apparently a Squadron 60 needing to go on a ship next week is the reason why no work has been done on my boat for over a week now.:(

Sorry Richard if its me holding you up, the delay was not my fault it was down to the broker not getting the paper work and I was put back a week and had originally agreed a start date some time ago.

On the marina subject I am using various around Mallorca and then heading for Denia or Valencia, I find kit much cheaper to winter in the mainland and we have a property on the mainland which makes checking on her easier as well.

It's been a bit frustrating with very little communication until yesterday when I was waiting for my delayed flight home. So the news wasn't received very well by me. I visited this morning and seems they can now get started so at least moving forward now.

I assume your boat is back in the water, didn't see her on the hard this morning.

I hope you enjoy her, she looks a lovely boat in the photos.
