I have a blue hood as well. Smart on the outside imho but can be a bit dark inside, esp at night, but you can just put up a white lining inside to dratically improve light levels, i used lycra, very light and stretchy, tied to the upper parts of frame and praps to middle of frame too if there are two zips.
