Or we can do it the other way around, i always carry 48 Leffe's on board (12 blond & 12 dark's) & 24 Jupiler just in case we run out of drinks... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Boy you are smart, how is the new boat spotting hobby going? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif You could always try planes instead /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm sure when I have had a bit of practice in it and fitted the long range tanks I will be over that way. Luckily I don't think I need the long range tanks to get to Yarmouth from poole, so I will give that a go next weekend /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As for the beers, excellent, I've got an ice maker on mine and optics, so it could be a good party /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

See you soon /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Lovely looking boat Pete. Fender sox a must with that gorgeous blue gel coat. Don't forget you fill it with the smelly fuel from the black pump /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

very nice boat indeed, looks stunning out the water bet its a whole lot more fun when its in the water, heres to the good season and hopefully much better weather

I think it will take a bit of getting used to that cheap diesel, I often felt it was unfair that the boats filling up around me had a third of the fuel bill I did when I had petrol, but that is a little more like 50% now so not as bad.

On another matter, It seems those that have the money and can afford big engined diesel boats get the benefits of cheap diesel whilst the people who buy smaller petrol boats get hammered, where were the RYA to deal with that issue, seems a nonsense that they are jumping up and down now about the red yet still ignoring the petrol boaters.

As for all the nonsense of people giving up boating if the diesel price went up, look at it now, 56p up from 34p a couple of years ago and no sign of any effect at all. I am not saying I want to pay more but as boaters we should all support each other and get the petrol reduced for those with smaller boats /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It's the Jack Daniels /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't wait to have a laugh when I fill up the tanks and it's less than £200 a fill, normally enough for a weekend /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I may even have some change to pop into the chandlery for a look around /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i am all for that helping the petrol boaters like myself out i was always to assume the higher fuel tax on petrol was to cover road maintance excess that the road tax didnt amount to, so why we all take it as rule to keep paying same tax when its used for marine and not being used burning up the weight on the roads, this will also become the same when they lift the levy on the red any views on this?

The pic is just a front view and all these little sports cruisers look the same could have been a Regal or a .............oh whats the name of the boat in your last short disasterous ownership................began with L........... was it a Learner?

Anyway bollocks to you I'm not interested now

Yes all carefully calculated as Duncan has said which even resulted in the necessary purchase of a Defender 90 to pull it, each item weighed and logged on a spread sheet, dinghy and outboard will travel in the back of the Landy /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But are you actually going to tow it anywhwere once it is safely parked in your berth?

For instance, would you be tempted to tow it to a place like North Wales where you can boat in interesting waters in the shadow of mountains, where meeting another boat can be an exception, rather than the rule?

Sorry, sorry, sorry DogWatch, I am writing 100 lines right now. "I must keep my mouth shut about our perfect neck of the woods."

It won't happen again.

well he's towing it to Poole next week, and his berths in Chatham, so I supose that answers one point.

Sark is pretty 'cliffy' and he's there in August - so that's 2.

If it's pissing with rain it will be deserted (even in August) - so thats a full house?

Why would anyone want to go to Wales..........? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
