Anyway, I've worn these every day for 15 months and there still going strong, bought them from a swindlers for £60 Liked them so much I got some for christmas, £39 I fink. Off the web!
For me most deck shoes are crummy as footwear for 2 reasons, firstly, the dye leaks out of them when wet and, secondly, they're not supportive enough for walking any distance on land. If your shoes address these 2 issues then you might sell a few but the price is too high to sell in large quantities IMHO
I'd look at buying either style for about £60 but I dont particularly like the 2 tone colours
You should contact tcm though. He'd buy several pairs if you did them in a purple leather and leopard skin design
Well I've never worn anything but proper leather shoes for any length of time, but these chattam thingies are fantastic. I even jumped in to retrieve the dinghy in them. Well a few times actualy. Eerr the dogs got them at the moment, ang on a bit!!!
my Clarke's have lasted 3 years but have finally given up (rotted?). Agree re dye - have a blue pair that bleed when wet - but a good pair of 'hard' brown leather are fantastic.
ooh no, my boat shoes are the very er depth of style and modernity, all cacky and manky now with bits of bilge paint as well. If you keep on with the same pair, eventually the dye stops coming out.
