New boat: New name!

Purely out of interest....and being a nosy git....has the boat always been on the Thames or did it come from elsewhere ?
Speaking to somebody in the club and they have vague memories of it being down here at some time.
Poss. of course no connection whatsoever,but chap concerned was looking to buy a boat up your way, looked "your" new boat and remembered the unusual forecabin.
