It's a pity the volunteers don't seem to have collection boxes, we get quite a lot of donations to the RNLI in our box, if the volunteers did the same I'm sure people would happily share between the two. I'm not keen on doing a DIY box as they always seem a bit like a con

I have seen a collection box for them at SYH where they keep the boat but not sure where else. Perhaps an e-mail or two suggesting this to them might be a suggestion.
