BA announced today a new route LGW - PMI.

The fare are at the moment cheap.

For half term in May everyone else is £400 ish one way - BA is £120 ..

Also the flights back at end of the summer for school ( 2 sept) are £120, and again all others are £3-400

It wont last long - roll up roll up!

Great news!

Avoid gold car at all costs. Off season is cheap ( e1 per day is typical )

On season vanrel can be good as you collect from car park without a wait but off season they are far more expensive than record who want cars on hire at any cost.

Another recommendation for Record. Never had any issues with them in 14 years.

Don’t know much about Goldcars but based on my own experience I avoid OK Cars like the plague.

I have friends who regularly fly Birmingham-Perpignan for £40 return. Stansted can be even cheaper if you pick the right dates. Good area to keep a boat - the marina prices are cheap too! ... :encouragement:

Thanks for info. When you reach Palma any good car hire company's as my recollection is somewhat chaotic rip off business

I use Terry's Car Hire or Avis Preferred. With Terry's you just drive off from the car park and leave it there on return. No human contact, gets you on your way quickly. With Avis you have to give licence details and card no when you join Preferred but then it is get in and drive off. Avis Preferred works world wide if you hire cars a lot.
