Why??

I just cant think why people try and design these things, this cost £700k+ and the other one you can buy for £150k....why?

New Range Rover £70k, with everthing, new boat Bayliner or similar with all toys 30K and save 50k... why buy a somthing that is not good on road or water and you can save £50k and get the best road car and a good boat.

Is it me or have I missed something?

It's a concept car. 750 to develop, not to buy! It'll probably never go into production, it's simply showing off Rinspeeds skills - they are a Swiss specialist car tuning company. They do a concept car each year. One year was the Bedouin, a Porsche 911 pickup truck. Another year the Presto, which could shrink by 2 feet when you wanted to park!

They are going for a cross channel speed record this summer, and Richard Branson is planning on doing the same with his Aquada! So, a head to head. If they publish dates, might go and join them for the trip........ anyone else?

I agree with Jim, total waste of time and effort. No one is actually going to buy one. ARE THEY ?
Can you imagine driving it down Ferry Nab slipway though Jim.
I have just changed my mind I'll have a red one.

Yes i can, but would buy an old army truck and have the same fun.

Also at LIBS they had a cheap version based on the Suzuki Vitra, a bit crude but I think it was only £25k, can't remeber the name, Can anybody else?
