Never comlain about boathandling in East Coast Locks again!

It does make you wonder.

About what sort of person would see any point, or derive any pleasure, from seeing somebody in difficulties let alone film it and post it on YouTube so that others can ridicule him.

And about what sort of person would post a link to it on this forum.

That wasn't someone in difficulties. They must have been pissed. Ridicule deserved.

What sort of person? Someone with a sense of humour and with many East Coast friends amongst whom I am pleased to be counted.

Hope your day gets better.

+1 No details of the other boat visible in detail so no direct naming shaming etc. Lighten up.

Humans - with a sense of humour and a sense of the ridiculous.

"Oh look. Here's someone making a mess of doing something. Oh gosh, isn't it a scream. I know, lets film him and post it on YouTube. Haw haw! Soopah!"

Exposing someone you don't know, and who has done you no harm, nor claimed skills he doesn't have, to be an object of public ridicule, indefinitely? That's ok is it?

I don't think so. At best it's unkind, at worst it's petty and spiteful.

"Get the popcorn and enjoy". No thanks, I won't.

Yes taking the p*** out of an obvious novice does not do anyone a bit of credit.
