Need something a bit more substantial than what I've seen at the chandleries, these Mutts are 36 kilos apiece! and the recent forum comments and complaints about Compass makes me very wary indeed.

ToMo,
dont under-estimate the amount you require or the length of time it takes to fit when trying to ensure all the diamonds are the same size/shape.
You will also need a good quantity of cord to secure it to the guardrail and toerail (assuming you have a perforated toerail). If not you can tie a line between stanchion bases to use as a bottom fixing...
probably telling granny how to suck eggs ..?
To be honest i havnt used netting for about 10 years and only my wife had the patience to fit it well.
From memory start at a vertical so if your pulpit/pushpits slope go to the nearest stanchion (leaving enough spare to go back to the slope).
Do a rough fit using short ties at fixed points as this saves threading and unthreading your final cord.
If i think of any thing else i'll drop a post.
Tieing the bottom of the netting to the toe rail all along might look nice when you fit it, but it is a pain once you land alongside someone and need to use a spring or centre cleat.
Even if you have a perforated toe-rail, I would still rig a line between the bases of each stanchion, just so you can get ropes etc. underneath it.
Buy some 3mm Kevlar or similar - as this has the strength and lack of stretch needed to get the bottom tight. Feed this through the bottom of the diamonds, and tie tight to the stanchions.
