As anyone had to fill in a arrival form on line before arriving in the Netherlands,
or is the rule still the same , report to custom once you arrive?

It’s what I came across alt last year we just sailed in and reported to custom and they never said anything .

We emailed the form as per your link to Dutch immigration on arrival at IJmuiden. A couple of hours later we were visited by the local Dutch police who stamped our passports. All very straightforward and saved us the 4km walk/ride to the office.

Ijmuiden once through the lock there a pontoon and the custom only a five min walk unless they moved .
Last year we just checked in when we arrived, so I wonder if the internet form was a new thing or if it's been about but they not bothered if you send it in before hand .

Just to up date .
Ijmuiden we never sent any form although we did fill it in and had it with us .
moored to the dock just pass the lock and walked to their office at the port ,
a five min walk .
when we checked in they didn’t ask about any form and when we offered it, to them they wasn’t interested.
all very stright forward .

I did read some where on these forum that they where given a document that said the boat was allowed to stay for a year but when I asked about it no one seen to know what I was talking about .
not at all sure why 1year as boat can stay 18 month before having to leave for a short trip and then return .
