Neoprene glue wetsuit

Good day everyone,

Have split started on ankle opening on wetsuit (heading north swiftly) was going to put a patch from old wettie neoprene - neoprene round bottom of leg (+a few stitches ??) inner stretchy fabric intact - any "off shelf" glues available/recommended or is it " black witch" i think it was called & buy it online ?

I've had great results from Stormsure adhesive in the past, comes in little 5g tubes, and holds up very well over time.

The one I linked to is 30g, with some patches. Better than using off-cuts.

In the days when everyone made their own wetsuits, the expanded neoprene was butt joined with glue and then a non-expanded neoprene tape was glued over the join. If you can find the glue and tape it makes a strong, non-bulky repair. Probably worth asking people in your local dive club, somebody may let you have the necessary dab of glue and tape, or may even offer to do it for you.

Great thanks - Just what was needed - ordered the 30g + patches @ £7.50 & will effect some sort of repair if can get some tape as outlined Cheers
