Anyone got any ideas where I can buy wood panels like these to replace damaged ones?

The pic is from a similar boat manufactured mid 80's. I think that's a teak veneer on top of some kind of plywood. looks quite a bit darker than this picture suggests. Solid, hardwearing stuff, but now damaged by some idiot. Would like to repair. Probably be difficult to find a good match though.

I wouln't worry unduly, they aint ogres, or some fly by night outfit. Never heard anyone else complain about them, but hey! what do I know? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As an alternative, I bought some sheets of veneer from a dutch company called Leeuwenburgh veneers - uk sales in Bristol. Sheets are 8 x 4 , veneer being mounted on a plastic (phenolic) base, total .9mm thick (from memory).

I used it on my 1979 boat to recover the original teak faced ply which was badly damaged by UV. You may find it easier to cover the damage rather than replace it. They also supply veneer with a paper type backing, useful where edges need to be covered.

Delivery was a couple of weeks from order and it was well packaged. I used this approach as I wanted to improve a bulkhead (as well as removable sections) and could not see how to replace it without major structural work.
