This has probably been asked before but I have not been able to find this anywhere on the forum so please forgive me if I am asking again.
I am looking at replacing the props on my 42' SC motorboat this year and am looking at recommendations for suppliers please. Will need 4 bladed, cupped, nickel ally bronze props. Plan is to take old props to suppliers for an exact match but just need some recommendations as there are a few suppliers around and it's difficult to choose one without having used someone before. Thank you in advance for your help.

a lot of folk recommend Clements so I am sure you cant go wrong using them. https://clementsengineering.co.uk/products/marine-stern-gear/propellers/

However I have used these guys before https://falpropellers.co.uk/homepage Not sure if its because they are in Scotland, but I found significantly cheaper than Clements and other suppliers down south when I used them so might just be worth asking for a like for like quote, of course there will be courier charges unless u happen to be in Scotland...

Might be worth knowing that some of those companies mentioned actually source some props from Michigan Wheel.
Deal with their UK depot directly and possible to save serious money.
Vast selection held in stock and even if you need an unusual oddball pitch they will import from USA and still beat local suppliers.
If you are not in hurry, additional savings can be made if they ship your props by surface.
Compare the prices from any of the default UK companies with Michigan Wheel before you buy, the savings before the pound collapsed were even more impressive.
Very helpful if you email them with your requirements, normally reply within 48 hours.

C & O engineering in Devon.

I've used them for years for any stern gear related kit.

I too can highly recommend them. They've done excellent work on my props, and at a very good price.
I've seen lots of their work over the years, they're in the same village as me so chat to them often.

A great thanks to everyone that has replied. At least now I have some recommended companies to contact. Interesting about Michigan Wheel. The two companies I had spoken with prior to getting recommendations both said that the props I needed were not "of the shelf" as they are cupped and would need to be made, both mentioned Michigan Wheel so will look at that avenue as well. Thanks everyone for coming back so quickly.

Suspect that many prop workshops tweak a bought in base propeller to customer requirements.
Do remember that all the UK companies we contacted wanted extra money and needed extra time to supply my P35 props which were 3 blade 20" x 26P.
All without exception asked more for the required props than Michigan Wheel , who were bringing in the props from half way across the world and presumably having to factor in import duties and shipping costs as well.

Perhaps UK prop shops are about to be exposed the warm air heater world.?
