Need Monteray Boat review 228sic

Do you know where I can get a realistic review of a Monteray 228sic?

Or any good source fior boat reviews would be helpful..

I find the usual magazine reviews to be pretty useless. If you want to dig up some Monterey owners then I would suggest also posting on another site -

I looked at those little Montereys at the boatshow.

Not the best quality in the world, but certainly seemed good enough, and frankly seemed a bargain compared to a lot of other American sportsboats. I liked them.

Dunno about the UK market. But over here we expect to see Montereys priced about the same as Crownline and Four Winns. Less expensive than Chaparral and Sea Ray.

Have a look for the tests for the 218LSC - it's the same boat but with a different lid...

MBM tested the 218 LSC back in 2003. Came top out of nine contenders as an overall package. Oct 03 is the issue if you're interested.
