Need advice on buying 2007 Mariah SX 19

Hi Boaters,
I’m looking to buy a 2007 Mariah SX 19 Bowrider.
Any concerns with this boat or tips on what to watch out for? It has a 3.0 Mercruiser engine with 300 hours.
Any advice will be appreciated by this first time buyer.

I'm not an expert on inboard engines but I have heard that risers for out on the mercruisers. Also the stern drive is a complex and expensive item to look after.

Where has the boat been kept? Saltwater has great corrosive properties.

Remember, you are buying an engine with a boat attached so inspect service records and do a sea trial if you make an offer...

Depending on price...I’d advise to get a 4.3 if you can. Most guys that buy a boat with a 3.0...soon wish they had went for one with a 4.3. 3.0 is a great wee engine...but 4.3 just won’t hurt your ears and is much more refined.
