"Saguday" is now finally in the UK!!!! :D:D:D:cool::cool:

Arrived by ship in Southampton at 5AM this morning, off-loaded today and has cleared customs!! Phew!

Shipping agents tell me apparently all is well, no damage in evidence :):)

This has been a very long process, starting at the beginning of this year and we've been beset by various delays and setbacks but now we're almost there.

Anyway, next Monday she's loaded onto a truck and on Tuesday she should be in Tollesbury. There is then a well-oiled military-like plan to get her in the water, mast rigged, bits and pieces sorted out, gas conversion done, electrics arranged and engine serviced all by end of the week!!!:eek:

Why end of the week?

'Cos our 3 week holiday starts on Saturday 7th and we need to be on the boat!:eek:

And the yard staff are all on holiday the week of the 9th!!:eek: Mersea Week!! Is it all going to happen??? I don't know!!!! :(

Starting a sweepstake, place your bets please...

I'll be over in Tollesbury Mon night with Kieran and Luc so we can be there when she arrives at Tollesbury on Tuesday morning. If you're around, the frantic grey-haired old git hopping around with unconcealed joy and excitement is me - for health and safety reasons please keep well clear :D

I'm so stoked...

...and on the seventh day we'll have a teak deck just like Guapa :D

Thanks, can't wait to get out on the water and meet up again. Who's out and about during the last 3 weeks of August? Anyone at Mersea week?

Thats great news Neil!

We are gonna have to come out and partake of your hospitality!

We are out for the last three weeks... just not in your neck of the woods...

Hi Doug, I know, it was a dilemma but the decision in the end was East! :) Hopefully we'll move about a bit and get down West at some point too.

Hope it's going well for you, must meet up for a beer if you're passing J22 at some point :D

wow thats some going to get all that done !!

my boat is still in shed at tollesbury being put right by martin and i shall be round there this week to put nice shiny new rigging on the mast and complete a job i started last week and fit new lights and wind speed/dir twirly wot-sit - hopefully !!!!!

might bump into you to say hi :)

OK will look out for you - I should be fairly easy to spot on Tuesday :)

The wags at the boatyard in the US have sprayed amusing graffiti all over the shrink-wrapping and won't tell me what it says, no doubt the humour is at my expense.

I'll find out on Tuesday...
