So, the cooling issue was nothing more than a calorifier pipe, which took an hour to find and under fifteen minutes to fix... (sigh...)
Now I have three working pantograph wipers, thanks to extensive dremelling and some ingenious bodges, er fixes due to nothing going quite as planned, my VHF linked to the Nav unit so it displays the co-ordinates automatically, and I found the speedo function at the same time, which is good as the boat one is an 'Ex speedo' (Deceased, no longer a speedo etc...)
The bilges are clean and dry (for now) fenders re-hung on new lines, which are thick enough to be gripped by the little plastic hangar thingys, throttle levers lubed, so much nicer to use, and the canopy cleaned and proofed.
The autopilot still doesn't work, but it's an old Cetrek 701, so probably never did, and does it need to be linked to the Nav unit to work? the original Decca was scrapped, as it was obsolete, and I' not sure it its compatible with a Lowrance unit!
Still, all I need to do now is give her a final clean, and I'm happy enough to hit the Medway in a month or two.
I hope by the end of the season to have every little bit working, but it's going to take a little more time...
