My gfwmbo thinks I spend too much time talking to my 'friends' on this site. I keep explaining that its 'educational'. I dont think I'm deluding her too much; other than the jock stuff, but then I dont understand that anyway.
Your suggestions to persuade her that time spent on here is at the least slightly beneficial, as I bizarely enjoy it, are gratefully received.

Only two? 4 networked (more or less, when they can be bothered) in my household and I still have to fight for one!

At least SWMBO spends more time emailing than I do S'butting, so she can't say too much

Friends?
Beneficial?
Educational?

is there something I am missing or where do I join?

If you are a person who likes avoiding zigzagging boats in confined spaces whilst etherially challenged on the hunting question, whilst believing the government is out to get you no matter what, and use huge tanks of fuel, and dare to put to sea in anything other than a recently retired RNLI boat with extra safety extras and eats strange flat tins of ex-meat with stodge whilst occasionally bear baiting owners of VERY large sailboats and have a penchant for pretending you are female at the weekends whilst varnishing the floorboards of your old car and can sneer a lot at will whilst laughing at the less than fortunate people who arent S Coast based.
ITS A WAR I TELL YOU! YOU DON'T THINK I DO THIS FOR FUN DO YOU??

How can you tell I have been down the pub all afternoon? Because I tacked twice on the way down the hill.......

Absolutely - networked computers no problem. Sadly our broadband has been absent for nearly 2 weeks now - sheer deprivation
